    Auntie Kate
I need your help! I just opened up a consignment shop in a small town. We’ve been open 3 weeks and have plenty of consignors, not enough shoppers. I could write a book about the problems I’m going through with this, but I’m SO busy I wouldn’t have time. Please help!
    Sincerely, Kris Brown

    Hi Kris!
I’m so glad you’ve found this blog, and I am sure by now you’ve also found my web site for consignment, resale, and thrift shopkeepers at http://www.tgtbt.com … There’s loads of info there that will make you feel LOTS better…. but let me take this opportunity to say:

No Worries! You’re only 3 weeks old…it will take time for customers to find you. I just know that you are accumulating a great mail and email list, and that you’re writing those “thanks for coming in to see us” notes right and left! See you over at http://www.TGtbT.com , home of Too Good to be Threw and its Products for the Professional Resaler!
    Best wishes, Kate

I am glad you have plenty of consignors! I have a problem keeping clothing in the store; getting new consignors, etc.

    How do you do it?

    Hi Kate,
Two months into this venture I have to say that without the stroke of luck I had in finding TGTBT has made all the difference in the success of my store. I LOVE WHAT I DO! :)

    Thanks!
    Dottie
